I am passionate about all things to do with words. My doctoral thesis was on the history of reading. I have taught in universities, published literary reviews, carried out research for the BBC and I currently work as a content strategist in the City of London.

I also write, publish and perform poems and other creative pieces regularly. I blog on my creative process at pollybull.org. In 2021 my first poetry pamphlet was published entitled Outside In. It is available to purchase from Wordville and all book retailers.

I have a PhD in history and am currently working on an MA in philosophy, both through the University of London.

I am non-binary and use they/them pronouns.

Happily living in North London, I am also interested in music, running and spending as much time as possible with my nearest and dearest.
